Nine-year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death

Monday is the nine-year anniversary of the death of Michael Jackson.

The king of pop went into cardiac arrest inside his home on June 25, 2009. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

He was 50 years old.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office ruled that his death was a homicide caused by a lethal dose of the drug propofol.

Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray was found guilty of  involuntary manslaughter and spent two years in jail.

Jackson is still known across the world for his chart-topping songs and dance moves.

His work has influenced several artists.
