The man and baby have been located safety. They were just out on a walk.

Police are asking people for assistance in identifying a male seen walking in the area of Niagara Gorge, located off Niagara River Parkway and Whirlpool Road, in the City of Niagara Falls.

The male was spotted on the wooden stairs that lead to a trail, frequently used by hikers and fishermen.

On February 8th, police received information about a male, described as black, 25-35 years, 5’10”, thin build, carrying a baby (approximately 1 year old).

Due to the wet conditions on the trail, a concerned citizen noticed neither the male nor the baby were dressed appropriately for hiking.

Officers continue to check the trail and are looking to speak with anyone who may have been in the area and has seen the male matching the description.

If you have any information, you are asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service at 905-688-4111 ext 2200 or Crime Stoppers of Niagara.
