As well as the Hamilton Air Show, the Niagara District Airport had their own show on Saturday. For both aviation and car fans, there was a lot to enjoy. This year’s theme was “Wings and Wheels”. Classic planes were in the air while classic vehicles were on the tarmac. Local flying clubs were taking passengers up at a discounted rate while a flight simulator gave guests the true flying experience. Proceeds from “Airport Fest” go to Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold.
