The city of Hamilton welcomed it’s first baby of 2018. Maddix was born at McMaster Children’s Hospital, weighing 6lbs 1oz.

His mother, Dystynee says she’s looking forward to watching him grow up and spending the holidays with him.

Dystynee says the hardest part was the contractions but she is recovering well and baby Maddix is doing fine also.
