We’re starting to get a good idea about what the life cycle of Disney’s Star Wars films are going to be. A film drops in December, then hits home video right about now (The Force Awakens came out this week). Now the marketing for this year’s Rogue One is getting started with the film’s first teaser debuting today. Felicity Jones stars in the film as Jyn Erso, a very rebellious individual who is tasked with stealing the plans to the Imperial’s Death Star. Also starring are Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Donnie Yen, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna, and Riz Ahmed.
Godzilla’s Gareth Edwards directs this one which hits theatres on December 16.
