Who’s that man behind the welder’s mask you ask? And why is he rhythmically grinding that piece of metal? Well we quickly discover it’s former stripper Magic Mike, and when Ginuwine’s “Pony” starts playing, you can’t help but grind along with it. Channing Tatum is back reprising his role as Mike, the the legendary dancer who quit at the top of his game. He’s not out for long though as this sequel sees him come out of retirement to join his friends for one last show. Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez, and Gabriel Iglesias are back as well while Amber Heard, Donald Glover, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, Michael Strahan, Andie MacDowell, Elizabeth Banks, and Jada Pinkett Smith join the cast.
Gregory Jacobs directs while Magic Mike director Steven Soderbergh takes an executive producing role for the film which will dance into theatres on July 3.
