Eating healthy is the goal for many people. But actually doing it can be costly. Fresh produce and nutritious meals are not cheap — making them difficult to pay for if you’re on a budget. But a new café in Hamilton is aiming to change that.

The 541 eatery and exchange has been in the works for more than five years now. The founders have wanted to give back to Barton and this area in a meaningful way and hope to do so with the cafe that is a non-profit business. Today, it had it’s soft opening and it’s already a hit with locals.
