It’s been nearly three months since 79-year-old Helen Robertson vanished from her home on Millcroft Park Drive in Burlington. On July 5th, Helen left her home and has not been seen since.

Robertson suffers from Alzheimers and has been known to wander off several times in the past. Police say she is an avid walker who is physically fit and is capable of venturing off on long distances on her own.

An extensive ground and air search was conducted when Robertson first went missing, but it was then scaled back. Investigators are now relying on tips from the public.

Det. Joe Barr, the lead investigator with Halton Regional Police handling the case, wants to remind the public that with the seasons changing there may be differences in things like density of bushes and shrubs, trees shedding leaves, shifting earth etc. Barr says areas previously searched, may now appear different.

Halton Police are asking anyone who may have information this case to call Regional Investigative Services at 905-825-4747 ext. 8760 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
