Montrose Rd. closure in Niagara Falls

Motorists and the general public are advised that Regional Road 98 (Montrose Road) between Regional Road 57 (Thorold Stone Road) and Regional Road 20 (Lundy’s Lane) will be closed to through traffic Monday, May 2 until 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 6.

The road closure is necessary for railway crossing maintenance work by Canadian National Railway and will include excavation of the track.

Local residents and emergency services will have access only either from Regional Road 57 (Thorold Stone Road) or Regional Road 20 (Lundy’s Lane) during this closure. No through traffic will be permitted.

A detour route will be posted along Regional Road 57 (Thorold Stone Road) to Kalar Road and to Regional Road 20 (Lundy’s Lane).
