Million dollar drug bust on Hamilton mountain

Six men have been arrested after a million dollar drug bust on the Hamilton mountain. Hamilton Police began investigating a business on the mountain after reports of suspicious activity.

Police searched two units at 115 Hempstead Drive last night and arrested six men inside who were in the middle of harvesting a marijuana grow-op.

Police seized more than a million dollars worth of drugs, including a black garbage bag full of marijuana. They also found cash, ammunition, and evidence of cocaine trafficking.

Six men from the Hamilton and Stoney Creek areas raging in age from 29 years old to 49 years old were arrested and are facing drug trafficking and other charges.

They appeared in court today police, have opposed their bail.
