Mourners continued to flock to the armoury on James Street North in Hamilton on Saturday where the largest memorial to the late Corporal Nathan Cirillo can be found.
Thousands of people gathered along the highway and on overpasses on Friday to pay tribute to Cirillo.
Some shed tears for a man they’d probably never met but somehow feel they knew.
24-year-old Corporal Nathan Cirillo was killed Wednesday while on a ceremonial post at the tomb of the unknown solder in Ottawa.
Now he’s being honoured as the known solder by other members of the military.
A public visitation has been scheduled for Monday at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home from 9 am to 9 pm.
The funeral is scheduled for Tuesday.
