McDonald’s Canada adding self-serve options

First Published:

The days of lining up to pay for the same old burger at McDonald’s will soon be coming to an end.

Within the next two years, McDonald’s Canada will re-arrange its front counters to add self-serve ordering kiosks and a premium personalized burger with nearly 30 different topping options.

Each restaurant will have a greeter to help guide customers through the process, as well as an option to have orders delivered right to a table.

The changes should result in about 15,000 new jobs across the country.
