Man, 33, injured after car slams into pole in Hamilton

A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Hamilton.

Police say a four-door Toyota and a Jeep collided around 11 p.m. Monday near Barton St. and Woodward Ave.

The Toyota then slammed into a light pole and the driver became trapped in the vehicle. The 33-year-old man was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A 29-year-old woman who was driving the Jeep was not injured in the collision.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash. No charges have been laid at this time.
