After an impressive festival run, Love is Strange finally makes it theatrical début in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal this weekend. The film premièred at Sundance and went on to play Berlin, Tribeca and many smaller festivals in between including Toronto’s Inside Out film festival and the Niagara Integrated Film Festival. The romantic comedy was critically acclaimed across the globe for telling a warm, modern love story.

Love is Strange stars Alfred Molina and John Lithgow as long time partners whose world is turned upside down when they decide to finally tie the knot. Suddenly out of work, and homeless the couple must depend on their friends and family while they attempt to rebuild their lives. Marisa Tomei, Cheyenne Jackson and Manny Perez co-star in the film from director Ira Sachs.

Love is Strange is rated 14A.
