Kanye West has been hospitalized in Los Angeles following days of erratic behaviour and the abrupt cancellation of the rest of his Saint Pablo concert tour.
According to TMZ, police responded to a call for a welfare check on West while he was at his trainer’s home.
At first, West was resistant to go to the hospital but was eventually convinced it was best for him to go.
TMZ says Kanye was handcuffed to a gurney during transport to the hospital, as standard protocol.
Video emerged earlier this week of West giving an on-stage rant about Jay Z, Beyonce and Mark Zuckerberg during a concert in Sacramento.
