Inquest postponed

A coroner’s inquest into the death of Fort Erie teen Reilly Anzovino has been postponed indefinitely…

Reilly was critically injured in a car crash on Boxing Day 2009.

She was rushed by ambulance to Welland, but died on the hospital’s doorstep.

The inquest began last Monday.

Witnesses included first responders, including two paramedics, but this morning Reilly’s mother Denny issued a statement saying their lawyer Wayne Redekop is off the case.

The family has standing, and will be retaining another lawyer.

Reilly’s mother issued a statement to the coroner… she says “please know we did not enter into this decision lightly… next to reilly’s death the events of this week have been the second most painful of our life… we more than anyone are anxious to see this process through.
