Guilty verdict in Kingston

Many muslims in Canada say the Shafia murder trial reveals the need to take a stronger stand against domestic violence in their community.
Mohammad Shafia, his wife Tooba Yahya and their son Hamed were convicted in Kingston of killing the couple's three daughters and Shafia's first wife.
The verdict came down on Sunday.
Prosecutors said the Shafia sisters were thought to have brought shame upon the family by dating.
Canada's Minister for the Status of Women, Rona Ambrose, writes on Twitter that Canada must never tolerate such misogyny as culture.
A Calgary-based Imam says the trial forces the Muslim community to address uncomfortable issues that too often get swept under the carpet.
