Hamilton homicide investigating death on John Street

Hamilton police are releasing few details after a man was found murdered in an apartment building in the city's downtown Thursday morning.

The 55-year-old man was found dead in his fourth-floor apartment in a building on John Street South just before noon.
Police say an autopsy will be done Friday.
Police are also canvassing neighbours in the area, and asking anyone with information to contact them.

They caught the killers of this man, why can't I find a story on this website about the case? a week ago it was all over the news and papers, and the ch site has nothing to update the story?

I don't think it's very fair that you are saying the cops aren't doing their jobs. Put yourself in their situation... what clues do you think you could find? None of you are forensic scientist and/or police and if you are then you should be ashamed. They're may be unsolved cases but most are from the times where our technology was not as advanced as it is now. You can sit on the side lines and say whatever you want like the cops aren't doing their jobs but the truth is, their jobs are hard and its not like you can solve a case in a day. You can't judge people based on what the media tells you. I am terribly sorry for the mans friends and family and as well as the comment about someones boyfriend. My sympathies but as we sympathize and put ourselves in your shoes maybe we should do the same in what the cops have to go through not with how hard it is to solve a case but also with no support from the community. Give them a break.

my boyfriend was murdered in the same way, found bound with wires on his hands and feet and a plastic bag over his face, but he was a black male so instead of investigating further they just closed the case saying it was suicide. so sad, it has been 12 years now and the people that did this are still walking free.

the video is terrible and we need a lot more. front and rear entrance survailance...the video pic is poor dpi and try blowing it up..why don't they at least show the video for public to see?...

it is sad when ppl are getting murdered, why cant ppl jst get along or talk bout it or just leave it be rather then killing someone and goin to jail for it and makin someone lose thier life
