Therapy for open wounds

When the healing process doesn't kick in, amputation is a last resort.
Each year Ontario sees thousands. But a new therapy from a Hamilton company has proven successful, where others have failed.
In part 2 of our series, Open Wounds, Maria Hayes looks at treatment.

Unfortunately, making t-pot accessible has been an overwhelming challenge.
The therapy isn't funded by Ontario's health ministry. That is the focus of our story Wednesday.

    I have profound belief in this treatment modality, as I have witnessed personally the effects of this therapy. The physical, emotional and psychological effects of an amputation are immense on a person's well-being. In my opinion, this treatment option should be available for the world to access!
