Jordan Peele hit it out of the park with his debut feature, earning critical praise and breaking the box office record for highest grossing film with an original screenplay, which was held by The Blair Witch Project since 1999, with its $230M worldwide haul. Peele has already lined up his next projects: producing the HBO series Lovecraft Country alongside J.J. Abrams, and directing his second feature set for release on March 15, 2019. The home video release of Get Out is packed with features including an audio commentary from Peele, 23 minutes of deleted scenes, and a scrapped alternate ending to the film.
Wolverine fans got a fitting end to the character’s big screen legacy this winter with James Mangold’s gritty Logan. The film was the best reviewed of the entire X-Men franchise and the highest grossing of Wolverine’s standalone films. The home video release comes in 4K and standard versions and includes a remastered black and white version of the film called Logan Noir, as well as commentary from Mangold, deleted scenes and a behind-the-scenes documentary.
