Hamilton YWCA receives $150,000 in funding

Hamilton’s YWCA received over $150,000 in funding today.

The announcement made by the Honourable Kent Hehr, Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities.

Hehr was wrapping up a week long tour of southwestern Ontario, making his final stop here in Hamilton.

The funding allows the YWCA to help people with disabilities find and maintain a job or self employment for about nine months.

Hehr says he is pleased that the government is helping people with disabilities get more opportunities.
