If you live near the Stonechurch and West Fifth neighbourhood in Hamilton, you may have come home to something you don’t want to see tonight.

The same anti abortion group that visited schools earlier this week, using graphic images of aborted fetuses to drive home their message, is now hanging flyers on people’s doors.

The group is called the Canadian Centre for Bio-ethical Reform.

Resident Tony Daryn says he and his eldest daughter confronted the young woman who was distributing the flyers but she asked him to contact the Centre of Bio-ethical Reform to express his concerns.

It’s the same group that visited Sherwood Secondary School this week. Daryn is now appalled to find these images on his front door and feels strongly about it being the wrong way to spread their message.

“It doesn’t matter whether you are pro-choice or not to come here to your house and find these graphic images is appalling . If my 14-year old daughter had come home and seen this she’d been inconsolable just so upset. A woman who just lost a baby or had an abortion, to see this it’s such an intrusion on our privacy.”

His daughter Dyana, agrees.

” I was tempted to take them all down. I’m completely pro-life but you don’t do that to peoples houses there’s no reason that should be allowed on a private residence.”

The centre was not available for comment.
