Hamilton Port Authority teams up with local beekeeping company

First Published:

The Hamilton Port Authority has teamed up with local urban beekeeping company, Humble Bee, to provide a breeding ground for queen bees.

The HPA has provided space for Humble bee to install 12 hive boxes that they refer to as “Queendoms” next to the Sherman inlet.

The new bee yard is a compliment to the Port Authority’s first pollinator garden, also located at Pier 15 and planted last year in partnership with the pollinator paradise project.
