A young Hamilton couple has spent the last year dealing with a series of set-backs that stem from what should have been one of the great joys in life – the birth of their son.

April and Omre Taha’s son Gabriel has spent his entire life at Toronto’s Sick Kids Hospital.

They know that Gabriel will not survive.

They are hoping to bring Omre’s mother to Canada to see her grandson for the first and last time.

April’s family has started a crowdfunding page to help fulfil that wish and with luck ease some of the financial burden.

To help the family with a donation please visit their GoFundMe page: http://www.gofundme.com/lovemyheartwarrior
