Halton Police searching for missing Burlington teen

Halton Regional Police are asking for the public’s help to find a Burlington teen who has been missing for almost a week.

Police say 15-year-old Gitti Wayezi was last seen Sunday Apr. 22.

She is about 5’3” and was last seen wearing black leggings.

She has a nose ring in her left nostril and has brown eyes but wears blue contact lenses.

According to police, she is known to travel throughout the GTA and could possibly be in Toronto.

Police say they want to ensure her well-being.

Anyone who sees Wayezi or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call police at 905-825-4747 ext. 5155.
