Halton Police arrest vehicle theft suspect

On Thursday, April 28 Halton Police arrested a suspect for multiple thefts from vehicles in Oakville.

Officers and detectives from 2 districts were set up in the area of Sixth Line and McCraney Street – this area was identified from a pattern of recent thefts.

At 12:45am a suspicious male was followed and observed approaching residences and vehicles. K9 PSD Parker was used to help track the suspect and officers arrested him without incident. Stolen property was located at the time of the arrest.

Charged in this case is 24 year-old David Policelli of Oakville.

He is charged with:

  • 5 Counts of Trespass at Night
  • 3 Counts of Theft Under $5000
