A group of camp kids felt like they were visited by superstars in Hamilton on Thursday. They were attending a computer science camp at McMaster University when they had a visit from two software engineers from Google.

The visit was planned by children in grades six to eight at McMaster’s Venturing Engineering and Science Codemakers camp. The camp has everything to do with computers and technology, so who better to visit than one of the camp’s sponsors: Google Canada.

The kids spent time asking the Google engineers questions, but the number one question they wanted to know, was what is it like to work for the tech giant. Melissa Dominguez, a Google employee, has to admit that it’s awesome working for the popular search engine and she hopes to affect the decisions these kids will make about a future career.

But if these kids really want to work at Google, they’ll be happy to know that website is always looking for fresh, new talent to bring on board
