Four children, two adults seriously injured in Dunnville crash

The Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a two-vehicle collision in Dunnville that sent seven people to hospital.

It happened Thursday on Highway 3 between Ortt Rd. and James Rd. around 7 p.m.

Police say one vehicle was travelling eastbound on Highway 3 and the other was travelling westbound when they collided.

Four children and two adults, who were passengers in the same vehicle, were taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The lone driver of the other vehicle was not as seriously hurt but was also taken to hospital.

A section of Highway 3 was closed for several hours while emergency crews were on scene but has now reopened.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call 1-888-310-1122.
