Several officers were on scene at a Flamborough home following reports of a home invasion this afternoon. Two men broke in wearing ski masks, one armed with a knife, the other with a gun.

We spoke to one of the victims who said that he and a friend were tied up at the wrists and forced into a chair. He said the men pushed a gun into the back of his head while demanding money and drugs.

Eventually the men left empty handed and drove off in a stolen black escalade. The car was found torched just 2km away. Hamilton fire was called in and police are still investigating what is left of the car.
