Final report for missing flight

First Published:

A new report released more than 4 years after Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 went missing is shedding light on what might have happened.

The report says the flight was deliberately diverted and flown for over 7 hours after severing communications.

It goes on to say that the cause of the disappearance cannot be determined and that the “possibility of intervention by a third party cannot be excluded.”

It’s believed that the plane crashed in the far southern Indian Ocean.

The report issued today followed a second, private search that failed to find the plane.

The plane with 239 people on board vanished on March 8, 2014.
