Fans celebrate at the Fan Expo

The ultimate fans of comics, science fiction, horror and anime celebrated the long weekend at the Fan Expo in Toronto.

More than 120,000 people attended the event.

It was a Comic-Con event full of surprises, lots of new merchandise and meet and greets with celebrities.

Fans had close encounters with Star Trek legend Patrick Stewart and many voice actors.

Over a thousand booths were set up around the Toronto Convention Centre.

Popular areas included the Dr. Who section where fans posed with Tardis and the batmobile display with a full-sized replica of the 1966 model.

There was something for everyone to enjoy.
