On Wednesday July 11th, Niagara Regional police stopped six exotic cars, involved in a tour group for speeding and stunting.

The cars are owned by Ultimate Exotics based out of Stoney Creek. Customers take them out on a 5 hour VIP tour and switch vehicles are certain points along the tour.

Niagara police anticipated their arrival and when speeds reached over the posted 50 km/h limit, the group was stopped.

All six drivers, including the tour operator, were charged with various offences, four had their licences suspended.

Ultimate Exotics issued a statement apologizing to the residents in the area. They say the employee guiding the tour has been suspended and mandatory road safety training will be required upon his return. They also will be outfitting their vehicles with GPS tracking to monitor speeds.
