First Published:

After the success of her documentary Ninth Floor, director Mina Shum returns to narrative films with Meditation Park. The seasoned Canadian director chose to honour her mother’s generation with the film that explores the life of Maria, a 60-year-old homemaker who must reassess her purpose in life when she discovers her husband is having an affair. Chinese screen legend Pei-Pei Cheng stars as Maria while the all-star cast is filled out with Sandra Oh, Don McKellar and Tzi Ma.

Meditation Park hits screens in Toronto on March 9th and will expand across the country throughout the spring.
