Exclusive // Edgar Wright

First Published:

British filmmaker Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim VS the World) returns to the big screen with his latest original work, a tribute to jukebox films and car chases, Baby Driver.

Ansel Elgort stars as the title Baby, a getaway driver for Atlanta’s criminal elite. When he’s ready to give up the wheel in favour of a clean life with his girl (Lily James) he discovers leaving his line of business isn’t as easy as just giving 2 weeks notice.

Evan Arppe caught up with Edgar at the Toronto premiere of Baby Driver to talk about the long development phase of the film and what it’s like to finally see it on the big screen.

Baby Driver is currently in theatres across Canada.
