Supercrawl

Supercrawl is a free festival weekend of art, music, fashion, performance, craft and food vendors and much more. The annual open-air event takes place on James Street in Hamilton, Ontario. The 2017 edition of Supercrawl runs from Friday, September 8 to Sunday, September 10. #supercrawl

New headliners unveiled for Supercrawl 2017 include platinum-certified Saskatoon rockers The Sheepdogs, whose members Ewan and Shamus Currie will also be bringing their eclectic new side project BROS to Supercrawl.

Additional headlining acts include punk dynamos PUP, in a rare Ontario appearance amid a run of west coast USA dates. The Toronto band has racked up two Polaris nominations, three JUNO nominations, a 2017 SOCAN Songwriting Prize and untold thousands of road miles thanks to its tireless touring regime, and promises to be a high-energy highlight of Supercrawl 2017.

The Sheepdogs and PUP join a roster of previously announced headliners that includes Sam Roberts Band, Blackie & the Rodeo Kings, Tanya Tagaq and John K. Samson.

Additional Supercrawl performers unveiled include Arts & Crafts recording artists and soulful Vancouver indie rockers Belle Game, local heavies Black Collar Union (collaborating with the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra), shoegazey four-piece Reader (formerly known as Good Anya), Mohawk College’s classic R ‘n’ B revivalists Rhythm Express and alt-funk outfit 3:1, winners of the 2017 Burlington YMCA Band Battle.

They will join a roster of performers that includes The Acorn, Art Pop Ensemble, Bill & the Art Crawlers, Jessie Bower, BROS, Basia Bulat, Dearly Beloved, Dan Edmonds, Family of Things, Groove Machine, Jordan Haller, Hamilton Children’s Choir, Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, Hamilton Youth Steel Orchestra, Harrison, Harrow Fair, Hello Harvard, Holy Data, Jambassadors, Julie & the Wrong Guys, The Kents, Kroy, Letters to Lions, Lone Rhu, The Medicine Hat, Megative, Mother Tareka, Mountain of Wolves, Persons, Kelly Prescott, Poor Nameless Boy, Rarity, Ginger St. James, Andy Shauf, Skirt Check, Steve Strongman, The Vaudevillian, Voodoo Glow Skulls, White Cowbell Oklahoma, Thompson Wilson, and Donovan Woods.
