We lost a few musical icons this year. This is concert will pay homage to the music of TOM PETTY, CHUCK BERRY, FATS DOMINO & THE TRAGICALLY HIP featuring performances by BEG TO DIFFER with special guests ED & PETE VAN DYK and hosted by Mr. Jay (I.R.S on 93.3 FM CFMU). This is a FREE event. Performances will start at 9pm.

Hamilton musicians Beg to Differ along with Pete Van Dyk and Ed Van Dyk (Pete Van Dyk & The Second Hand Band) will perform songs including favourites like “Johnny B. Goode”, “Blueberry Hill”, “Free Fallin'”, “Bobcaygeon” and much more.

Beg to Differ lead vocalist Tim Ninehouse is a composer, pianist, singer, multi-instrumentalist with experience as a high school band teacher, choir director, session musician and mural painter. His theatre background includes working for the Dutch National Opera and as orchestra conductor/music director for high school renditions of Broadway http://productions.ninehouseproductions.com

Pete Van Dyk and Ed Van Dyk (Pete Van Dyk & The Second Hand Band) Formed in 2012, the first EP Telephone along with the music video was released in Fall 2012 and featured on Alan Cross’ music blog. In September 2013, the band released the 7′ single Shake Me/Plan B. https://petevandyk.com

Jeremy Shand a.k.a Mr. Jay is host of the weekly radio program I.R.S. (International Reggae & Soca) on CFMU 93.3 FM, www.cfmu.ca. He is also an actor and has appeared in several theatre productions including James Street (2012, 2014 and 2015), Scroogissimo (2013, 2014 and 2016), MacBush (2016) and started 2017 in two productions, Train of Thought and Women of Manhattan.
