About 2 hundred volunteers joined forces Saturday, to pick up, sort and pack local donations. The food bank director Shirley Molloy says fall and winter is when help is needed most, due to back to school costs, Christmas preparations, higher hydro, and more personal expenses in the colder seasons. Molloy also adds that goods collected from today’s event will last for about 4 months, until Christmas donations start.
