Detained Canadians still behind bars

Two Canadian men are still behind bars in Egypt, with their fate up still up in the air.

Laywers representing Tarek Loubani, a doctor from London, Ontario, and John Greyson, a filmmaker from Toronto, were hoping to meet Thursday with a Cairo prosecutor to plead their case for release. But the prosecutor failed to show up, and the lawyers were forced to leave the prison where the men remain. there’s no word if the meeting with the prosecutor can be re-scheduled, and supporters of the two men say they don’t know if a detention order against them will be lifted.
