The Denver Broncos rookie Ryan Murphy was sent home before Super Bowl 50 takes place this Sunday.
He will play no further part in his team’s Super Bowl game after being caught up in a prostitution sting.
According to new sources, police detained a suspected prostitute near a motel in San Jose.
When she told the police she needed to get something from her car, they found Murphy and his brother in the vehicle.
Police detained and questioned Murphy and his brother over the incident. Police determined that Murphy was not involved in any criminal activities and was released without being charged.
Murphy’s brother was reportedly cited for solicitation.
The Broncos player has been banned from participating in the Super Bowl championship but has not been dropped by the team.
Ryan Murphy joined the Broncos in November.
