Update:

Vincenzo Lofaro, 46 of Hamilton was pronounced dead outside of a Hamilton night club following a shooting early Friday morning. He was a bouncer at the club.

It happened at around 3:20am out front of Club 77 on King William Street near John Street. Police confirmed this was a targeted shooting.

Witnesses say they heard six or seven gunshots. A women who police say is a friend of Lofaro’s was also shot and taken to Hamilton General. She is expected to recover.

Police are looking for at least two males involved in the shooting and possibly more people and a vehicle that may have also been involved.

Video evidence showing the shooting has been obtained and detectives are reviewing the evidence.
