Deadly shooting in Oakville

(Video updated) The province’s Special Investigations Unit has been called in after a deadly shooting involving Halton Police in Oakville.

A man, in his 50’s, died after he was shot during an altercation with police at a hotel in Oakville early this morning. It happened around 5:30 inside the Monte Carlo Inn on the South Service Road near Trafalgar. No police officers were hurt.
