Craitor’s son arrested for sex assault

First Published:

The son of Niagara Falls city councillor and former MPP Kim Craitor has been charged with sexual assault. The charge stems from an incident last week. The alleged assault is said to have happened, just days after Premier Wynne confirmed that she asked Kim Craitor to step down from his post as Niagara Falls MPP in 2013, after reports that he was sexually harassing women. Craitor said the allegations are unfounded.

Now his son, 39 year old Christopher Craitor, is set to appear in court on June 14th to answer to a sex assault charge. Police say a woman was walking in the Lundy’s Lane area around eight last Thursday night when a man grabbed her and made utterances of a sexual nature. She managed to break free. Police arrested Christopher Craitor later that night.
