A rare and colourful art exhibition popped up in Burlington tonight.

It was called Cirque Village Square — and as the name suggests, the square in downtown Burlington was transformed tonight with a range of art from dancing to large scale sculpture, light art, film, and much more. It was an all ages event and is one of 30 pop-up art shows being put on by the group ‘No Vacancy Art’.

Selina Jane Eckersall, Executive Director of No Vacancy Art: “We really wanted to make an exploratory event, the type of art that people in Burlington don’t normally get to experience. Events that are typically in larger cities.”

And while the beer garden closed at 11, the market is open until midnight and you can check out the art installations until 2am.
