After a frigid, wintry week temperatures warmed up this afternoon just in time for the annual Santa Claus Parade in Hamilton

Thousands of children and their parents lined the downtown streets early to make sure they had a top spot to catch a glimpse of Kris Kringle himself.

The crows bundled in their blankets and cozied up to their cups of hot chocolate.

Soon enough the floats, marching bands and dancers began filling the streets with the festive sights and sound

Even CHCH’s own Annette Hamm and Brian Wood made an appearance.

Then the man of the hour, Ol’ Saint Nick closed down the parade.

Children assured CHCH News that they had been good this year and were excited to get home to start their wish lists for Santa.
