Man dead after single-vehicle crash on Highway 403 in Hamilton

A man was killed Monday night after a pickup truck crashed on Highway 403 in Hamilton.

The collision happened near Aberdeen Ave. at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Police have confirmed that the lone driver of the pickup truck has died. Officers believe the man suffered a medical episode as the truck was briefly driven into the ditch and received minimal damages.

Hamilton Paramedics assessed the lone male driver of the pickup truck on scene and he was taken to hospital without vital signs.

The OPP closed all westbound lanes on Hwy. 403 in the area as officers investigated the collision.
