Charges laid in deadly Brantford crash

Two Brantford men are facing charges after a deadly crash last week. OPP were doing ride checks at Maple Avenue and Concession Road 8 in Brantford last friday night when they pulled over a pickup truck they believed was stolen.

They say the driver took off and crashed into a car. The Brantford woman in the car, 18-year old Ashley Lerno, died this week.

48-year old Richard Gamble is facing several charges including criminal negligence causing death. 34-year old David Gregory is charged with possession of stolen property.
