At the beginning of 2017 Ontario became the first province to put the healthy menu choice act into effect. It applies to restaurants that have more than 20 locations and how they must display calories for food items. They are hoping to help raise awareness about calories in food eaten outside the home. Tim Bolen, along with the team from Hamilton Public Health are helping you with that awareness.
