They were breaking out the nine irons and putters for the first time this season in Burlington today.

Tyandaga golf course officially opened to early birds and weekend warriors looking to get their swing in shape. This week’s rain made for soft greens that will be sure to firm up as the temperatures get warmer.

The course is known for its blend of rural beauty and convenient location. Some golfers like Nicholas Letterio were inspired to tee up just like the pros at The Masters this weekend.

“It’s not too warm out but big competition going on with The Masters this week so you just want to warm up, get the first round in, you know have a good time.”

You can take advantage of the course’s $30 green fees until April 18th.
