Burgoyne Bridge down to one lane

First Published:

A heads up if you use St Catharines’ Burgoyne Bridge during the day.

As early as this afternoon, but more likely starting tomorrow, only one lane of traffic will be allowed over the bridge between 9:30 and 4. The daily closures are to allow workers to remove a sidewalk as they replace the bridge over Twelve Mile Creek and highway 406.

The work is expected to last into the fall.
