Brown to Wynne: threats will be ignored

First Published:

Ontario Progressive Conservative Leader Patrick Brown will not apologize for comments he made about Premier Kathleen Wynne on Tuesday.

Brown told reporters that Wynne was standing trial, when in fact she is not on trial or even under investigation, but is offering voluntary testimony in a byelection bribery case in Sudbury.

Brown called her legal threats ‘baseless’ and says he will ‘ignore her request.’

Wynne had threatened to sue Brown if he did not apologize and give a full retraction.
